Stacking firewood, I found a Monarch butterfly chrysalis.
After a few days it actually hatched into a butterfly
and I was able to get a photo. |

Winter 2002 a friend, found this ermine
in her Glen Arbor area yard. Her dogs had chased the ermine up into a tree and then
the chickadees
chased it back down. A wonderful photo opportunity!! |

Chair Skating... a New winter "sport".
Early Jan 2003 we didn't have any snow but the ice on Glen Lake was like
glass, so Joanne (in the chair) got a ride all around the lake. FUN!!!!
